This one‑of‑a‑kind hat stand and coat rack is a sculptural celebration of aviation engineering, crafted entirely from genuine aircraft components. Starting at the base, a Puma bevel gear provides solid foundation and industrial symmetry. Above it sits an Olympus engine combustion chamber, its perforated metal and curved form giving the piece a dramatic, architectural presence.

Rising through the centre is a BAE146 screw jack, repurposed as the main shaft — a perfect blend of mechanical precision and sculptural elegance. The upper section is assembled from struts, springs and small gearbox parts, forming a dynamic crown of hooks and hangers ideal for coats, hats and umbrellas. Additional Puma gearbox gears and springs add texture and movement throughout the design.
