This one‑of‑a‑kind coat rack and hat stand is built entirely from authentic aircraft components. Each was chosen for its engineering story and sculptural presence.
The base begins with an ATR72 brake disc, giving the piece a solid, industrial foundation. Rising from it is a JT8 jet engine flame tube. This was once part of the combustion system that powered classic commercial aircraft. Above that sits a BAE146 screw jack, originally used to adjust and support aircraft structures. Now, it is repurposed as the central spine of the stand.
