Details
Each stool is sculptured using various parts, mainly from decommissioned aircraft. The stools are handcrafted by David, each having a slight twist on the Dappr style. They are not only beautiful to look at but are structurally sound and ergonomically designed for comfort.
The base is a brake disc from an Airbus A320 with an APU Exhaust on top. The footrest is part of the landing gear of an Airbus A320 and the leg is a crankshaft from a CBR600 Motorbike. The backrest support is a screw jack from the wing mechanism of a Boeing 737. The backrest is an engine cooling manifold from a CFM56 Jet Engine used on both Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft. The rest of the stool comprises various gears and pipes from multiple aircraft. The seat is made of solid Sycamore wood.
The seat height is 75cm. The full height is 107cm, width 60cm and depth 53cm.
