Details
Each stool is sculptured using various parts, mainly from decommissioned aircraft. The stools are handcrafted by David, each having a slight twist on the Dappr style. They are not only beautiful to look at but are structurally sound and ergonomically designed for comfort.
The base is a brake disc from an Airbus A320, the leg is made from a helicopter take-off gear and a crankshaft from a CRB600F Honda Motorbike. The footrest is a special tool used on Tornado Aircraft. The backrest is an engine cooling manifold from a CFM56 Jet Engine used on both Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft. The rest of the stool comprises various gears and pipes from multiple aircraft. The seat is made of solid Oak wood.
The seat height is 78cm. The full height is 106cm, width 60cm and depth 60cm.
