Details
The Gecko Sculpture is a limited edition creation that transforms aviation heritage into art. Crafted entirely from reclaimed aircraft components, this striking piece embodies both sustainability and imagination. Its eyes gleam with rose joints salvaged from a Super Puma Helicopter, while the neck is formed from a gear belonging to a 1954 De Havilland Ghost Engine, once powering the Venom aircraft. The body is shaped from a screw jack collar reclaimed from a BAE146 aircraft, and the legs stand firm on gearbox parts from a CFM56 Jet Engine. The tail unfurls as a composition of gearbox gears and an oil pump gear, finished with a hydraulic pipe and a fragment of Tornado screw jack at its base. Every element carries with it the spirit of flight, reimagined into sculptural form. Certified as an original creation, the Gecko Sculpture is part of a limited series, destined to become a collector’s treasure and a conversation piece that bridges engineering and design.
