The brake disc is from an original decommissioned Boeing 737 Carbon Brake Disc. Manufactured by Meggitt for Dunlop Aviation. The Brake Discs’ beautiful marble effect is caused by the huge forces exerted when landing a commercial aircraft.
We have cleaned and coated the disc to keep this lovely effect, whilst also applying a motorcycle chain for hanging on the wall
