This head-turning coffee table is made from the 3rd stage of the Olympus Jet Engine. We polished the blades, mounted the housing onto an internal shaft and base from an APU (Auxiliary Power Unit), and then finished the piece with some beautiful resin artwork in the middle.
The Olympus Jet Engine was made by Rolls Royce in the 1950s and was best known for being used on the Avro Vulcan and later models of the Concorde SST.
